One of the best equipped ski districts of Friuli Venezia Giulia, reached by means of a modern cableway and where there is a splendid panorama over the nearby Austrian and Slovenian mountains. Thanks to the new chair lifts, waiting times to ascend are minimum.

The slopes are perfect for those who ski for enjoyment and relaxation, although there are no shortage of slopes for the more expert, with decidedly demanding stretches.

For those who like off-piste skiing, there are opportunities for wonderful ski mountaineering excursions (also with guides), while for cross country skiers there is a circuit 2.5 Km long at an altitude of 1,300 metres. The Suart circuit

Zoncolan is one of the most important ski centres of the region, with modern ski lifts, baby slopes for beginners, slopes at different levels of difficulty and qualified instructors, to allow everyone to practise winter sports.

The freestyle arena

There is a new area dedicated to free-style with a track for boarder-cross and ski kross, and an area reserved exclusively for aerial evolutions.

Activities in the district

Cross country skiing, alpine skiing, ski mountaineering, snowboarding, snowshoe excursions, bob-sleigh tracks, ski jump trampoline.
